Our commitment: gambling is entertainment, not income

We treat our games the way you would treat a cinema ticket or a night out: you pay for the time you spend playing, and the result of every game is decided at random. There is no system, pattern or staking plan that changes the odds. Gambling is not a way to earn money, and it is not a way to win back money you have already lost.

Before you deposit, we ask you to settle two figures: how much you can comfortably afford to lose, and how long you want to play for. Both should come out of money and time you have already set aside for entertainment, never out of money needed for rent, bills, food, childcare or repayments.

  • Only ever play with money you can afford to lose entirely.
  • Decide your budget and your limits before you start, not part-way through a losing session.
  • Keep gambling to a planned part of your day and take regular breaks.
  • Avoid playing when you are upset, bored, under pressure, or have been drinking.
  • Never borrow money, use a credit facility or sell possessions to fund your play.
  • Treat any win as a bonus to stop on, not as a bankroll that has to be put back into play.

The tools in your account and how to switch them on

Every account with us carries a set of free safer gambling tools. You can use them at any time, whether you simply want to keep your spending tidy or you feel your play is slipping out of hand. Using a tool never affects your balance, your withdrawals or how you are treated by our support team.

ToolWhat it doesHow long it applies
Deposit limitCaps the total amount you can pay in over a day, a week or a month.Until you change it; a decrease applies straight away, an increase only after a cooling-off period.
Loss limitCaps the net amount you can lose over the period you choose.Until you change it, on the same basis as a deposit limit.
Session limitEnds your session once you have been logged in for the time you set.Applies each time you log in, until you remove it.
Reality checkShows an on-screen message with your time played and your net result, so you can decide whether to carry on.At the interval you choose, for as long as it stays active.
Time-outCloses your account to play for a short, fixed break. For the lengths of break shown in your account; your account reopens automatically at the end.
Self-exclusionBlocks you from gambling with us, removes you from our marketing and prevents you opening a new account. For the periods set out in your account; it cannot be lifted early.

Switching a tool on

  1. Log in and open the safer gambling or responsible gaming area of your account.
  2. Choose the tool you want and the amount, interval or length of break that suits you.
  3. Confirm your choice; you will see the tool listed as active, with the date any change takes effect.
  4. If you would rather not do this yourself, ask our live chat team or e-mail support@casinoluckytwice.co.uk and we will set it up for you.

Any limit you lower takes effect immediately. Any limit you raise, or any request to remove a limit, is held for a cooling-off period first, so the decision is never made in the heat of a session. A time-out or self-exclusion starts as soon as it is confirmed and cannot be reversed while it is running, so please choose the length carefully.

Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem

Problem gambling rarely starts with one dramatic moment. It usually shows up as small changes in behaviour and mood. Go through the checklist below honestly; if more than one point sounds familiar, it is worth acting now rather than waiting.

  • You gamble for longer, or for more money, than you planned.
  • You chase losses, raising your stakes to get back to level.
  • You gamble with money meant for bills, rent, food or repayments, or you borrow to play.
  • You hide how much you play, or lie about it, to family, friends or colleagues.
  • You feel restless, low or irritable when you are not playing.
  • Gambling is getting in the way of work, study, sleep, relationships or things you used to enjoy.
  • You have tried to cut down or stop and found that you could not.
  • You gamble to escape stress, loneliness, grief or low mood.

If any of this applies, set a deposit or loss limit today, take a time-out, or self-exclude, and speak to one of the organisations below. Support is free, confidential and available whether or not you decide to stop altogether.

Where to get free, confidential help

We are not a treatment service, so we work alongside the national organisations that are. All of them are free to use and independent of us, and none of them will share your details with us.

  • GambleAware provides clear information about gambling harm and signposts free treatment and support across Great Britain.
  • GamCare offers confidential advice, counselling and structured treatment for anyone affected by their own or someone else's gambling.
  • GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme that blocks you from all online gambling sites licensed in Great Britain for a period you choose.
  • The National Gambling Helpline is a free, confidential helpline and live chat service, open around the clock, for players and for family members who need to talk to someone.
  • Your GP can also help, and many banks and building societies offer a gambling block on card spending that works independently of us.

Registering with the national self-exclusion scheme does not replace self-excluding with us, and self-excluding with us does not register you with the scheme. For the widest cover, do both. If you need help deciding, our live chat team or support@casinoluckytwice.co.uk can explain the options without pressure.

Protecting children and other people in your household

Gambling with us is for adults aged 18 or over, and we check the age and identity of every account holder as part of our verification process. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it, return the deposits made and void any winnings. We also take seriously any report that an adult has let a child use their account.

You can help by keeping your account to yourself:

  • Never share your username, password or payment details, and change your password if you think someone else knows it.
  • Log out fully when you have finished and avoid saving your details on shared or family devices.
  • Do not let anyone else, of any age, play on your account; bets placed on it are treated as yours.
  • Consider parental control or site-blocking software on devices children use, and the content filters built into most phones, tablets and home broadband.
